EarthFax personnel have broad environmental engineering experience,
from the development and implementation of monitoring programs, to the design and
supervision of remedial actions to alleviate past contamination. This experience has

In gaining this experience, EarthFax has dealt with several contaminants, including organics, inorganics, radionuclides, and sediment. Services have been provided for a wide variety of clients, including petroleum refiners, producers, and distributors; chemical manufacturers; Federal facilities; electroplating operations; food-processing plants; and mineral and coal mining operations. To help meet client needs for improved, cost-effective solutions to environmental concerns, EarthFax has taken two important client-oriented steps. First, in cooperation with its affiliate, EarthFax Development Corporation, EarthFax has obtained a world-wide license to apply the patented bioremediation technology of Intech One-Eighty Corporation. This technology utilizes white-rot fungi to degrade a wide variety of carbon-based contaminants, including wood preservatives, pesticides, herbicides, explosives, chlorinated solvents, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, PCBs, cyanide, dyes, and others. Since the naturally-occurring fungi can degrade the contaminants to innocuous byproducts, the technology offers a cost-effective alternative to minimizing the liability associated with remediation of environmental contaminants.Second, EarthFax has entered into a strategic alliance with Dr. Bilger Umwelt consulting GmbH of Frankfurt, Germany to market and apply their unique treatment technology. This technology, which utilizes dispersed sodium for the chemical reduction of halogens and other oxidants, has been applied in several European locations for the destruction of PCB's in transformer oil, the dechlorination of used oil, and treatment of landfill leachate. EarthFax is committed to the highest standards of environmental health and safety procedures. All field personnel are trained in hazardous materials operations and emergency response procedures as specified in 29 CFR 1910.120. This training is updated through annual refresher training courses and is supported by annual baseline medical evaluations. EarthFax adheres strictly to all internal, client, and government health and safety requirements. |
