April 12, 2011 - President of EarthFax Reappointed to National Trade Advisory Committee

Richard White, President of EarthFax Engineering, Inc., has been reappointed by U.S. Department of Commerce Secretary Gary Locke to the Environmental Technologies Trade Advisory Committee. This appointment is effective through October 2012, when the ETTAC current charter expires.

The purpose of ETTAC is to advise the Secretary of Commerce on trade competitiveness issues facing the U.S. environmental technologies, services, and goods industry. This advisory committee is unique in that it provides advice not only on programs but also on policies to strengthen the international competitiveness of the industry.

Mr. White has nearly thirty-five years experience as a civil and environmental engineer with expertise in the assessment of environmental contamination, design of contaminant remediation systems, water-supply development, and hydrologic engineering. He is a former member and chairman of the Utah Solid and Hazardous Waste Control Board and currently serves as a reviewer for the Utah Technology Commercialization & Innovation Program (a program of the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Development).
