January 17, 2000 - EarthFax Expands Laboratory Services to Include Humic Acid Extraction

Salt Lake City, Utah - EarthFax Development Corporation announced today the expansion of its microbiological and chemical laboratory services to include the extraction and purification of humic and fulvic acids in soil, water, and other substances. In conjunction with these services, the company also offers characterization of the hmic and fulvic acid fractions, including analysis for total acidity, CO2H groups, total OH groups, phenolic OH groups, alcoholic OH groups, Total C=O groups, E4/E6 ratio, and IR spectra. According to Dr. Richard T. Lamar, Director of Research and Applications at EarthFax Development, "This service is designed to assist soil, crop, and agronomic professionals with laboratory-, pilot-, and full-scale projects where a clear understanding of the humic acid fraction is required.
