May 1, 2003 - EarthFax to Present at the 2003 International Oil Spill Conference

Salt Lake City, Utah – In association with Chevron Texaco Pipe Line, Spiltec, and Research Planning, Inc., EarthFax Engineering, Inc. was selected to make two presentations to the 2003 International Oil Spill Conference to be held April 6-10 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.  The presentations focused on the topic of in-situ burning as a response technology at inland oil spill sites following a successful response to an inland oil spill located adjacent to the north shore of the Great Salt Lake in Utah.

June 26, 2002 - EarthFax Awarded Phase I Small Business Innovation Research Grant for Improvements to Fungal Bioremediation

Salt Lake City, Utah - EarthFax Development Corporation (“EarthFax”) was recently awarded a Phase I Small Business Innovation Research (“SBIR”) grant by the U.S. Department of Agriculture to demonstrate the technical and economic feasibility of producing pelleted inocula for fungal-based bioremediation of contaminated soil.

July 25, 2001 - EarthFax Completes Work Under SBIR Grant to Evaluate Efficiency of Biobed Technology

Salt Lake City, Utah - July 26, 2001.  EarthFax Development Corporation recently completed laboratory work under a Small Business Innovative Research grant awarded through EPA to evaluate the feasibility of using biobed technology to contain and destroy pesticides and herbicides at agricultural mixing and loading facilities.

May 15, 2001 - EarthFax Completes EcoLinks Challenge Grant

Salt Lake City, Utah - EarthFax Engineering, Inc. has completed work on a three-phase project awarded through the EcoLinks Challenge Grant program.  The purpose of the grant was to evaluate alternatives to reduce pollution and recover coal from waste rock at an underground coal mine located in the Sakhalin Region of the Russian Far East.
